While these are offered in other times of the year now and then to my mind it's something that belongs to the holiday season.

Cross, very warm (but getting colder too fast everytime), and sweet with some powdered sugar.

Well schlope with beer followed by these tasty treats sounds like a good festive meal to me. Pass the beer please.

Mix in some Gluehwein and you've got a commonly used combination. :G
