She took this 2 years ago at Rockefeller Center. It's the lights on the Christmas tree :-)

Nice job. It has that "Bokeh" effect although I believe there is more to Bokeh than simply bluring the subject.

I saw recently a discussion about putting a piece of black paper, with a shape cut out in the middle, over the lens. The lights then take the shape of the cut out shape. The discussion was whether it was bokeh or vignetting that was created by the cut out shape.

Thanks Cal! She purposely blurred the lights. I say it's a 50/50 bokeh and blur :-)
