I've made so many attempts at images for this challenge that I've nearly missed it. Events overtook me, and it was too much fun photographing the subjects themselves, instead of concentrating on the 'window' task.

I thought I'd use the reflection problem to advantage in this rather silly still life of our kitchen ornamental junk, by lighting the candle. We gets lots of molehills in the rough, weedygrasspatch known as 'the front lawn'. I've learnt to tolerate the piles of soil, varying from tiny new ones like this (much bigger now), to ones that almost fill a 10-litre bucket. I just shovel up the soil, and add it to the large pile hidden behind the tree in the middle, for use later on the flower and vegetable patches.

However, they have a much bigger problem in my favourite field, across the road...

Actually, it's dewatered sewage sludge fertiliser, awaiting spreading. As the shot has amusement rather than artistic value, I'm afraid I couldn't be bothered to use my new-found freedom to remove the telephone cable.

There are pictures of fun with the undewatered variety of fertiliser in 'Landscape photos' at http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...amp;forum_id=8, all of which were actually shot through the windows, and one of which almost qualifies as a shot for this challenge.
