We have the TV in the bedroom, and I spend a lot of my spare time there with my feet up, reading, admiring the view, and even occasionally photoediting in bed using my wife's laptop. The area is popular with ramblers, many elderly, and sometimes in large groups. Here's a few, striding out and making me feel lazy, as I lie down with camera to hand ready for the 'challenge'.

Focal length [mm]: 37.4; 35mm focal length [mm]: 244
ISO value: 400; Shutter speed [s]: 1/102;Aperture: F8

Sorry about the depth of field. Zoomed in to frame the image, and rushing to focus, even f/8 wasn't small enough. I could have used wide angle and cropped, but then at the required ISO400, quality would have been poor. But I'd have missed the ramblers by then, anyway.

Every bit of exercise helps and I'm sure your shutter finger is in great shape!

Nice work, Alan. Although the scene has changed slightly between shots, the selective focus is very evident.

Thanks, Cal.

However, as my shot was posted on Feb10th, the last day of the 'Through the window' fortnight, the selective focus was purely accidental, as explained and apologised for in my text.It would all have been in focus if circumstances, equipment, and technique had allowed.

But if irony was intended, well said!
