A tiny elm in front of a Japanese juniper tree in the Bonsai garden at the botanical gardens




Pentax K20d, Pentax DA 50mm f/1.4 lens....1/4000 @ f/1.4, ISO 200...no post-processing except resizing for forum.

Good example but I might have backed off a bit for this shot. Reason - The photo seems so confined.

I have to agree with Selvin. The photos are quite "busy". A photography class instructor really drilled the KISS (keep it simple, stupid!) into us. The idea is not to clutter photos with unnecessary detail.

In spite of the above, you have done a good job with the selective focus aspect of the photos.
