This little guy was trying to decide if he could make the jump from the tree to the top of my house yesterday. I shot him through my front window. A little persistent tapping on the window got his attention...

The street light pole in the background was my second focus point.

Hi NotDads41

So, your tapping didn't scare it away then, that's good!

We don't have squirrels in Australia, but I do remember seeing several quite tame ones when I lived in London, UK.

In the 2nd photo, one would have to guess very much to work out that brown blur is a squirrel. Well done.

Paul,

It didn't scare him away. I was tapping in a manner to make it sound like the "barks" of a squirrel. So it sounded to him like I was challenging him for territory. He was actually quite upset at me for a while. ;-)

You have quite the unusual wildlife in your area of the world. I have a friend who moved from Kansas to Adelaide a couple of years ago. He sends me photos every now and then of the koala's(one recently of some cyclists giving a little guy a drink of water from a bottle), some wild looking lizards and all manner of beautiful birds.
