This ABS plastic skylift is a MOC (my own creation). I "kitbashed" from various Lego sets.

Kitbashing means you take apart the kits after completion for other creations.....no saving them?

Kitbashing means you take parts from at least two kits and make a new model out of them. "Bashing them together." It's a term frequently used in model railroading.

Being a former model railroader, I am well familiar with kitbashing. I have kitbashed a number of locomotives, cars, and buildings. I do all my railroading on the computer, now, with Microsoft Train Simulator.

Very interesting creation, Mr. Spock. I guess if I really want some Lego blocks, I'm going to have to ignore my wife and just go out and buy some! There is a great Lego store in our local mall.
