Can you tell us your setup. The shot is clear and the depth of field is great. That looks like a dead fly that is shedding!

Well thats one way to keep your subject from moving. Make sure its dead. Reminds me of the old Vincent Price movie "The Fly".

The setup was one dead fly on the kitchen tile floor. Light source was fluorescent tube ceiling lights. Shot hand-held in auto macro mode with the Fuji F40fd.
