Lumber knots have always fascinated me. I noted the following one while looking at my handiwork building a shed for my Solar water heater tank.

In my imagination I saw a knot racing across the plywood from left to right. I guess with a bit more imagination you can see a snail crawling slowly across the plywood.

Sony A700, F6.3, ISO400, 1/400 sec, 250mm, Tamron 18-250mm telephoto lens.

Now thats an interesting shot. Like a good shaped cloud you can see lots of things in there. Certainly see something moving from left to right. Like the smoke they use in wind tunnels.

I see a dog or a fox with a branch in its ear! Interesting shot.

It's Jupiter's great red storm, in wood.

1. Ditto on Jupiter's red storm.

2. It also reminds me of an ancient chariot racing from left to right - the type I've seen in pictures of some friezes on ancient Greek buildings.
