Default What went wrong?

I know we have been away for a while, sometimes life gets in the way of other things we like to do

I took this yesterday. The snake showed up very quickly so It was pretty much lift and shoot What went wrong 1) ISO set to low, @200 2) very slow shutter speed, 1/25 Sec 3) Big Heavy lens ( not wrong, but heavy for slow shutter speed!) 4) Flash did not stop action 5) Snake would not stop!!!
The first is right out of the camera with no PP
The second is after PP and crop, I like the way it came out.

PS Is there any way to put some space and/or text between the images???

This new fandangled forum software looks spiffy and like most things will need some getting used to.

Mugmar,
First, given the slow shutter speed (1/25) and the low ISO (200) your results are creditable.
But you are absolutely right both of these factors contributed to the lack of detail in the snake as it moved across your plane of vision.
