Default Fire

I recently had the oppertunity to shoot a Fire Department training exercise, the controlled burning of an abandond house.

They set small fires in the bedrooms and then go in and extinguish them over and over cycling teams through.

For the purpose of this challenge (and better photos) it would have been better if you had zoomed in more or moved in closer. I realize the latter may not have been possible. The details of the fire are difficult to see in these shots.

I looked at your Flickr page and you've got some great shots of firefighters there.

Nice to know that no one lives in those houses.

The third shot is very interesting with the fire engine in the foreground and the fire in the window of the house. Well done.

Calr, I think the image is more striking with the darkness, the fire truck, firefighters and the house captured in the image with the fire. It really does tell a story.
