Default Fire - The ultimate

We get to see it almost every evening, dropping down behind Santa Catalina Island in the Pacific. Every evening provides a different view. What could be more firey than our sun? Canon 5D Mk II, EF 100-400L, cropped wide

Very nice shot Walter. I see you dont follow the guidelines either. This shot was from last January. Im sure the sun was shining today so in keeping with the guidelines why not get off your butt and shoot for the challenge instead of digging into your archives?

I believe that we are allowed one archive photo per challenge. Perhaps the moderators can clarify this for us. Meanwhile, Bynx, I am greatly offended by the tone of your post.

Once again, I am called up to interpret or review the current forum guidelines. Guideline #1 allows one archive shot per challenge. Since this is Walter's first posting in the challenge, it is acceptable. Let this be the end of this discussion.

Gorgeous sunset. How lucky you are to see that every night.
