Default Fire

Getting cozy around the fire on a cool night at the cattage. I was given some advice to use Lighting effects in Photoshop to bring out the background of the picture a bit in the original. It seems to have worked very nicely. The details are as follows

Sony a300 with the sony 18-70 mm lense ( Soon to be replaced :-) )

F stop 7.1
exp. 1/2 sec
ISO 100
35mm

Any advice welcome

The scene almost looks spooky. With Halloween not too far off, a very appropriate shot. Well done.
