Default Selective Color- Male Plumage

It is said that most male birds are much more colorful than the females and this has to do with the males trying to attract a mate. However, I think this male Northern Shoveler duck is really abusing this natural phenomenon.

This one has a real 3D look to it, I think. This is a fun Challenge.

I love them both.

It is just coincidence but the music I am listening to while viewing the forum has some sound effects in it. Just as I viewed the second image, the sound of seagulls and other waterfowl could be heard in the background.

Thanks for you nice comments. I really appreciate them.

Cal, I'm not sure what the coincidental music means but I would take it as sign of good things to come. Either that or a flock of birds are going to poop on a newly washed vehicle.

Thanks again,
Steve
