Nice action shot. Good job with the hair. I know what a pain thin stands can be when selectively coloring a picture.

That shot just jumps right out at the viewer.

I took another good long look at this shot. Take a look at her fingers! I know for a fact that when I'm doing something athletic, I take some unusual positions withut even knowing it. Here she is, way up in the air, and her fingers have a mind of their own.

I think she is doing the Fosberry Flop. Her right hand is the lead so its pointing the direction. Her left hand is following and clenched because her muscles have tightened to give maximum push as she drives herself over. Her fingers might have a mind of their own but with a purpose.

Thanks for the kind comments. I have been going back and playing with photos trying to learn my software editing better. On this photo I was trying to learn different selection techniques. I think I started on a foot and had not even looked ahead to realize what a pain the hair would be. I had to make several tries to get something that came out looking half way decent.

Thanks again for all of the comments.

Tom.

I can understand the physics of a lot of sports, but just cant figure out how a person throws their body over a bar that is at eye level or even higher.
