Christmas gift bag shot through a half filled glass of water. I cheated this time and used two 60 watt bulbs.

I like this shot so much I had to wait a day to comment on it! I like the top half the most. I love things that are sparkly and colorful. Christmas time seems to bring out the best of this category.

Well it gave me an excuse to use this old bag. Its one of those hollogram kind of bag that changes colors as you shine a light on it. The top half is straight through the empty glass. Separated by the dark meniscus the lower half shows how the water changes both the colors and shapes. It was really interesting shining the light on the bag taking the shot. Every minute movement of the bulb changed the colors and shapes drastically.
By the way, the Indians of New York also liked things sparkly and colorful. Thats how come the white man got Manhattan so cheaply. |

Remands me of the giant color bar wall that Disneyland, CA use to have on one of their rides. Sure miss that ride too.
