Yup, gotta be 'wonderful pictures', 'cause that's what they are. The second shot is an excellent example of an action shot.
BTW, those who had trouble seeing the surfer as female from the first two shots, should get out more.

Couldn't agree more ("should get out more"), Brian. However, the second shot is of a male surfer...though not easily seen due to the angle.

When the girls look like guys with long pony tails and dressed in black rubber suits its hard to tell the players without a programme. Not that their gender really mattered it would have been nice to know we werent looking at the same person in the pics.

That is just how I use to know summer was really over growing up in Huntington Beach, CA. Never surf but did know a lot of surfers back then, back then being when the HB Pier was made out of wood.

Went to downtown a couple of months ago, it's still a fun place but definitely different than it use to be in the 70's.
