Default Seasonal Change -- From Mountain to Sea

We spent Thanksgiving with my daughter and son-in-law at their home on the mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe. Ten of us enjoyed a scrumptious meal that they prepared for us -- served at this beautifully decorated table. Note the Pilgrims as centerpieces. (for a view of the lake from the house, see my post in the Landscape forum).

Flew home last night and enjoyed a sunny 75 degree day strolling along the beach. We did some leisurely shopping at the marketplace beside the pier, where vendors peddled their wares under awnings. Spotted Santa ready to enjoy the beach. So, we really DID experience a "seasonal change".

Walter, your daughter sets a very elegant dinner table. As for the picture of you in the green shorts, not so sure.

"As for the picture of you in the green shorts, not so sure."

And I thought my disguise was perfect. :-)

That table setting is beautiful but I could never eat there. I would be afraid of spilling something on the tablecloth or chairs. Actually, I would be afraid to touch anything!!

I would like to eat at that table and behave as the gentleman I'm not.
Delicious pick. Are those Baccarat glasses?
