Default Holiday Activities

Just a part of an incredible Christmas display in our town. The couple serve free hot drinks and cookies around a fire every Friday and Saturday night for visitors through January 1.

That's a great night shot with vivid colors, good DOF and crisply sharp. Mind telling us the location (city)? Right neighborly of those folks to offer refreshments. Something not often seen/experienced these days.

Great shot. Tricky exposure but right on the button.

I dont suppose those lights are being powered by solar power. Their electric bill must be something fierce.

If you look closely at the mailbox on the left, you can see the words "for power." Out of sight above are the words "Donations accepted." The community helps out tremendously.

Ditto to what's been said before. Great Job.
The glow you see is not only from the cheer and lights but from the heat generated by so many lights.
Once went to a house in Chicago that was encased in lights before LED was a known and I don't think they needed to heat their home during the winter. The lights did a fine job.

Thanks for the kind words. A group of carolers is going to be singing for visitors at the house Saturday night. I'll try and get some shots.
