Default Holiday Activities-Lights on the Plaza

Lights on the Plaza in Kansas City,MO. I had an opportunity to join some friends to go look at the lights. Drove about 2 1/2 hrs to get there. I set this up on top of a roof. I don't usually do night shots, they scare me 'cause I don't do them to well with them. Aperture f/22(should maybe have tried f/16?) shutter speed 6 sec on a tripod.

Thanks for looking...
Mandy

Very good one. I like this shot. The length of headlights relates to me the time you had the shutter open. Your exposure is spot on. Next time try to get on a higher building. hahaha.

This shot seems to indicate that you have nothing to be scared of. Do a Google search on night shooting if you want to polish your skills.

Great shot jeephotog, perfect exposure - I love the American way of christmas lights, here in Austria most of the buildings are "naked" in December

Thanks everyone......I appreciate your input. I am going to keep at it and find other spots around my hometown to photograph at night.
