Bynx,
Quality stuff. Love the light burst from the upper left.

i think its a pretty good selfportrait. i would have cropped it so that your arm isn't in the frame. that way it has the overall dark look with the lightburst and keeps the emphasis on the model

Is that you Bynx I have to say you look quite striking... mind if I ask where you hail from? Just wondering knowing my dad use to say he had 5 other kids supposeably in the Washington, DC area your eye brows and eyes remind me of him ... course that could be in the cousin linage that it falls for I see it in the Captain Phil Harris of Deadliest Catch.... hey I know my cousins moved up out of Arkansas many many moons ago... Strikingly strange to one whom stays in to much these days...

I hail from Canada, just outside Toronto. Funny you say I look like your dad because all my life people always ask me...."Who's your daddy"?

yes it was great...if you blackened the area just under your beard..the neck, I think would almost have the face 'floating'...

But really nice shot...and as sharp gal said...striking.....for an old man

(at least he looks older then me...)
