Default Young or Old -- My Son

My supply of faces is limited. Here is one I see around here all the time.

The black background is just some black muslin I use when I use my "hahaha Studio" to shoot in. The light is coming through the balcony doors. His sister had to get into the act. But I shouldnt complain since faces are hard to come by around here.

another really nice portrait. i figured your lighting had to come from a big window or something, and you have made really good use of it.

this goes to show that with very minimal equipment, you can get some really nice portraits.

I like the almost pin-sharp pupils on your son's eyes. I think they match your son's expression.

I think the pupils on his sister's eyes are sized just right. Not pin-sharp like your son's and not big as to appear seductive because she has the expression of a friend.

I can't see the pupils in your dad's eyes but I think it doesn't matter because they look old (but not too old) and gentle enough for me.

Say what you like VV -- my dad is dead so he doesnt get mad at anyone. He was 84. I should be so lucky to live that long, but unfortunately my generation isnt going to live as long as our parents.
