Default Nursery Rhymes

This old man, he played one,
He played knick knack with his thumb,
With a
Knick, knack, paddy whack,
Give the dog a bone;
This old man came rolling home.

Is that actually a nursery rhyme or the lyrics to a song. I've heard the song many times.

I can read the dogs mind. He is thinking -- You even think about touching this bone and the next one Im chewing on will be the one in your leg thats holding you up.

LOL! That's exactly what I see in his doggy eyes! The "just before bitting you" looking.

Bynx, you forgot the Clint Eastwood line: "Go ahead, punk... make my day"

That's one cute dog... hate to see the live animal he got that bone from.

Fofa,

Having the urge to do some research I looked up the origin of "This Old man", and according to Wikipedia "This Old Man" is listed as:

"This Old Man" is an English language children's song, counting and nursery rhyme with a Roud Folk Song Index number of 3550. (c) Wikipedia

I guess that should settle any questions about the authenticity of your entry. Besides who could say no to a set of baleful eyes like that.
Nice shot.
