This is a really good human interest shot. I tweaked it a bit. I would encourage you to send it in to your local newpaper. It could be tweaked to match the paper's print output.

Hi, I did send a couple to our local paper with a little write up. They publish once a week and usually love this kid of story. The kids love it when they make the paper.

I report and shoot for my local paper. The shot is a first rate kid's picture. If your editor doesn't publish it, he's blind.

I agree with what has been said, however, the diagonal connection is not obvious. I know that track is elevated on the end shown but from this viewpoint, you can't see that.

The only thing I see diagonal is the black arc from the large circle built into the floor.

I agree with Calr, lovely shot of the kids expression but the diagonals is really minimal as Bynx tried to isolate it.
