Default Diagonals - a snatched shot

As I lazed watching TV after finishing my tea 20 minutes ago, the sun was setting and a short, sharp shower arrived. I knew from experience there'd be a rainbow, and got four shots off through the landing window before it disappeared.

I hope the disrupted diagonals of the garage roof slates add a stricter note to the rainbow's defective curved diagonality. The second order rainbow is just faintly visible to the left on my monitor, but may require twiddling to be visible.

That is a cool shot, Alan! I agree with Ordo about the colors and roof.

Alan,
I'll concede that a section of an arc from a circle of almost infinite radius is a straight line which makes the rainbow diagonal in your picture.
Nice shot.

Nice shoot, like the light on the roof which looks like it is coming from the Rainbow. But come on, using a Rainbow for a diagonal that make eye follow the line. That cheating, everybody follows a Rainbow trying to find or at least see the Pot of Gold at the end.

Thanks, All, for your replies, appearing like Calicajun's pots of gold themselves, in these tempestuous local times!
