I gave that a shot earlier this morning, but decided it was nothing like the real thing at all so I gave up. What do you think? Did you try the method I laid out in one of my two posts using Photoshop?

No, I did not try any other method. Frankly, infrared is not a favorite of mine and I just did it to participate.

Infrared is not for everyone and for those who enjoy it, it is not something that they would want to do all the time. It is something for occasional use and if done properly, the results can be spectacular.

Now, what is NIK? I don't find that in my photo editor.

NIK Photo EFEX is a separate program that can be used alone or within Photoshop. google NIK and you will find out about it.
