Default Things Fall Apart - Ghost Town

My computer is in the shop, so I've been playing around with some different, trial software on my hubby's computer. These pictures were taken last year, but were processed today using Nik Software's Viveza. They certainly fit this topic, having been taken in Bodie, a ghost town that's now a state historical park. It's off the beaten track, but well worth the effort to get there.

I second Acapulco's comments! Excellent work, especially #2 it really stands out, the detail makes the shot for me.

Thanks for confirming that the second one is special. I wasn't as happy with it with regular processing, it needed something more and this brought out the detail.

I like #2, but it's not your style, is it?

Definitely not my normal style for processing, though the subject isn't unusual exactly. It's a travel photo and I take lots of them. I've got some other ones that I took in the old stamp mill and other places in Bodie that I'll try to process using a similar process. I rather like it for these types of pictures, I may have to go looking for more places like this.

Ditto on #2, but all 3 are nice.

Three good shots and just in time too. The stat is talking about closing Bodie down in order to save money.
