Default Things fall apart

This is one of my favorite types of subjects to shoot. I travel for a living and anytime I come across an old building or old car I stop and take some shots. The car is an old Buick that I happened across on my way home Thursday. The train car is located by a ghost town in Virgina City, Montana. And the phone is in the house that my father grew up in during the 1940's, it was just recently demolished.

I like all the shots, but I really like the first one. Joking aside, it reminds me of some kind of "elephant graveyard" for old vehicles.

Yeah, I like the first one best as well. And the wall shot...well...that's one nasty phone. I might not even call 9-1-1 on that. ;-)

The first shot is great. I reminds me of one of those artworks where old cars are staged, some of the partially buried, others vertical with just half the vehicle sticking out of the ground.

The caboose in the second shot appears to be in much better condition than the cars. A new paint job might help hold the wood siding in place for a couple more years.

Now that third shot...I feel I need a face mask and latex gloves just to look!!

Yikes, decrepit hardly describes them adequately.
