Default Making Music and SOUND

Some shots from recent events here in the U.S.

And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air...

Forgive the patriotic edit, I couldn't help it. If it violates the rules or spirit of the challenge I will remove it.
Cheers, Steve

Nice ones steve.

I particularly like the ribbon effect and all the colours in the 2nd photo.

Thanks Paul,
It's always a challenge to shoot fireworks because the opportunity only come around once and awhile and you have to adjust quickly.
But that's the fun of it for me. If you get one just right it can be a very rewarding experience. I just wish we had a better venue. Fireworks over water would be awesome to shoot.

Cheers, Steve

Great shots. I love them both.

Philby, I corrected a minor spelling error in your post. No biggy!
