Captured this raven last Saturday at the Diablo Lake overlook in Washington State.

Ravens are large crow like birds. Like crows they have a lot of different calls. This one was with two others. They called loudly back and forth to each other as they moved through the area. They used a throaty, flat, cauwing sound common to crows.

Sorry...I must have missed the text the first time round saying it was a raven. I thought it was a raven (or a crow) but I wanted to be 100%. Sometimes it's hard to judge the size.

We do have a number of species of ravens & crows in Australia, so now I know what sound you have shared. Cheers
