Default Music and Sound: A modern Ukulele player

Recently this artist (Jake Shimabukuro) gave an ukulele concert for WWII Pearl Harbor veterans and also the Kanyaku Imin (Oriiginal Japanese Contract laborers to Hawaii). Here he is shown playing one of his compositions honoring the veterans.

Great shot. I love the energy. Well done.

Great expression on the ukulele player's face! Thanks for sharing Selvin. You've captured this very well.

The only 'compositional' advice, would be if the other player (in the background) would have been off to one side (rather than behind the guy in the foreground).

But still a nice shot. Cheers

Paul

Great action shot of the artist, but what an instrument! Looks like tiger stripe maple all the way around - very expensive stuff!

Those little music boxes can turn out some great music in the right hands.

Thanks all for your comments.

Paul, as usual this as taken during a concert with no opportunity to change the angle of the shot, but your compositional point is well taken.
