Default Home sweet home-Zeiss Ikon Movilux

This was home to me, and still is. The very first day my old man brought this projector to our home, i took charge of it.
I was a kid then, but i instantly felt that i could secure our past memories for the future.
Then the 8mm. film format fade away. Oh, my...

Wow; look at the workmanship on that, and the heavy-duty metal construction. Brings to mind the old saying that "they don't make them like they used to!"

Nice save on your part from your childhood. Such an awsome piece of equipment. I would love to see some of your early photography on 8mm film. Altho my dad never supplied me with anything like that he did give me 2 packs of candy cigaretts i never used and still have today. Talk about a non smoker...

Excellent, Ordo...!

My father had an old 8mm projector (not sure what brand)... I remember watching
shortened silent versions (subtitled) of classics like Frankenstien and Dracula, along
with old cartoon's like Popeye, Jack and the Beanstalk, etc...

Great memories...!
