Yes, the photo you posted now is MUCH sharper and clearer. (the original one was beautiful for the colours & scene- but I felt it lacked the sharpness that it deserved).

I generally attach to Steve's- but sometimes I link, particularly if some photos don't look great at the limits imposed here.

Well done! And thanks from my end also to the helpful comments / input from the various friends who helped explain it to you (sorry I didn't get back looking here till now!)

Bobbert, nice shot. A trick that I use anytime I resize a photo for the web is to do a simple sharpen before saving it. Don't do sharpen more or unsharp mask.

99.999% of the photos I post here are hosted on Photobucket and linked here with the technique you just learned. Works great.

Yes, the pic was taken by my son a day after she was born, a year and a half ago - that little bundle is walking and talking, and in 15 years she'll be driving my car... wow does it go fast!
