Looks like a very serene spot. Nicely captured.

Sweet! And to back onto a river (or smaller equivalent) too - how lovely. I can imagine peaceful times spent in your back yard.

Love the simple layout and colours. The lamp and table/chairs set match nicely. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments guys.

(I've got to admit that it perfect for a lazy photographer like myself. I've been able to shoot everything from Great Blue Herons, flowers, and foxes to dragon flys without leaving my yard.)

ARGH!!! What?! I'm jealous!!!

Maybe I'll have to divert a river or two through the back of my yard!

It's only November and I am already jealous of your green grass, leaves and flowers. Such a lovely year round view.

Paul said it all - I'm just as jealous about your ability to shoot GBH and dragonflies by walking in the back yard. Really like the picture, too. Though I'm not jealous of your green grass, leaves and flowers - looks like too much year-round work to maintain in such a beautiful condition.

Thanks Mtngal: I have been able to take such a variety of shots from home, it's a photographer's dream. I'll post just a small sample of various shots taken without leaving my back yard. ( As far as the green grass, the yard service companies are plentiful and their cost is very reasonable around here. I use them to maintain the grass. The flowers, on the other hand are a hobby, and I'm the only one to touch that area. I enjoy tending to my flower garden, it's what I usually do on Saturday mornings when I get up.)

Steven,
I had often wondered what the attraction to Fla. was, now I know.
