Well, I am completely surrounded by jok'n tall trees, don't think you want to look at bark and branches... but a three minute walk and you have a large lake named Lake Palokka.

Below is a shot taken today, as we are supposed to have a harsh winter this year. The other was taken during summer. If only one photo can be submitted, then use the second one. Cheers

Wow! What a beautiful contrast in seasons. Both are lovely shots, but I am drawn to the first one.

I like them both. Can you ice skate on the lake?

I do like the first one. There is a particular beauty and freshness in the early stages of winter. If only that feeling would last through to February and March .

Regards

Both are wonderful, but I'm always partial to winter scenes. That first one is really outstanding.

Thanks. Most people cross country ski.... There is another lake in town (3rd largest in Finland) and you can ski, ice skate, etc. Then there the lakes, most up north where people drive and race cars. Glad you liked the photos.
