Default Home Sweet Home -- Thanksgiving

The kids were home for Thanksgiving today. It doesn't get any better than this...

Yep, that's Home Sweet Home all right when you get to have the kids home for a special occasion. Nice candid pic. Were they studiously ignoring you or did you catch them unawares?

Cheers

They've had years of practice ignoring me -- it doesn't take any effort anymore!

Nothing says home like having everyone there and even appreciating the small messes they make...just for a few days. Enjoy!

very poignant shot .
Funny thing about kids..... you no sooner breathe a sigh of relief for getting them out of the house and you are wanting them back again. To hear the sound of their laughter and incessant chatter

Nicely shot in interior lighting. What kind of music is he playing by the way, looks like an acoustic-electric guitar.

That is a hollow body jazz guitar. It's not as resonant as an acoustic electric, but does make for a pleasant soft background. My son enjoys noodling for hours, and I love to listen to it as background music in the house. It's just one of many things I miss now that he's grown up and gone.
