Default Waves or Ripples -- Seal Beach

Taken 2 weeks ago, after a refreshing rain had just passed over. My wife and I had a nice breakfast at an outdoor restaurant in this beach town just north of Huntington Beach. The tide was way out, resulting in ripples as the waves made their way back to the sea -- accentuated by the reflection of the lovely white clouds.

Lovely capture. The place is even more remarkable without any hot dog stands or similar.

That's sure a difference from what I remember of Seal Beach in the late 60's! I was stationed aboard the USS Long Beach, then home ported at Long Beach. I drove around Seal Beach and there was nothing there but desolate beach--nothing beautiful about it.

Your photo shows quite the opposite. Great shot, Walter.
