Default Wind - My thanks to Zig, also

I was waiting for sunset yesterday down at the beach, when this guy came down the coastline at about 15 mph.

Those are wonderful images, Walter. I love the late afternoon Sun and the warmth it conveys in the images.

It looks like you were a fair amount closer to the subject than I was to mine.
I was on my boat fishing, a couple of hundred yards offshore, when I spotted this parachute with a fellow suspended below it. The fishing was too good for us to move, so instead, I just shot from where we were.

Your images have convinced me , I should have moved closer.

I would say that he was about 40 yards overhead. I was shooting a full frame camera with 70-200 2.8 lens at 200mm, and these images still only filled 1/5 of the frame. I was wishing I had brough the 100-400 lens instead, but that wouldn't have worked as well for my sunset shots.

Super! Nice to see the color changes.

Love the colors and the lighting for these two - perfect timing for him to pass over you.
