Default Point A to Point B- The Loner.

I took this shot yesterday. It was a very still morning at the refuge and while I was waiting for a Bald Eagle to come back to a willow tree when this lone little Green-winged Teal came paddling by on his way to somewhere. He was definitely on his way from Point A to Point B.

Thank you Ordo. It offered a unique challenge.
Vanessa, the simplicity is what drew me to the shot as well. I find it tranquil and calming. Thanks for the comment.

Calm and tranquil, but you know there has to be a lot of activity beneath the surface to create a wake like that.
Very nice photo.

Terrific composition... breaks the rules by framing the duck paddling out of the frame

Thanks Bobbert, I don't think of it as breaking the rules so much as telling a different story.
But, I know what you mean. Sometimes rules just have to be broken.

Thanks for taking a look and the time to leave a comment.

Cheers, Steve
