Default Point A to Point B -- Lombard Street

This is the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco, booked as the crookedest street in the world. If you straightened it out, it would be about two blocks long. However, in it twisty form it travels only one block. The entire street is paved entirely in brick. The street, located in a hilly section of SF is very steep. One of the city's famous cable car lines passes the lower end of the street.

This first shot is looking up the hill showing the constant stream of tourist traffic. This is point B with Point A being at the top of this one-way path.

This shot is looking down the hill from one or two houses from the bottom.

Ahhh, lovely memories of a most beautiful city. Just as well the street is one-way!
Thanks for posting Cal.

What a great shot for the challenge. I especially like the "Do Not Enter" sign. Seems like kind of a Duh, thing to have to post. Every time I been to Lombard street the traffic has been just as it is in the photo, so I wonder why someone would try to enter. Oh yeah, I forgot, people are crazy.

Love the shots, Cal.

I remember driving down this street. Just by accident. Later at Disneyland I watched a 360 panorama movie and a drive down this street was included. I wish I had taken some pics then. Thanks for this one Cal.
