Thats such a clean pic Id almost think it was one of the superrealistic paintings from a time before computers. Nicely done.

Indeed it does have a very realistic painting look to it (eg the runner's calf muscle).

What did you do (if any) post processing? Love the colours.

I'm glad you like this photo as there were a lot of work involved on it. Tripod, bracketing, burst mode; I shot about 80 picks of walkers and runners. Selected this one cause it's so dynamic. Then Photoshop, blurring some parts, sharpening other, added canvas, etc. Finally the touch of Topaz: Detail and Clean, until i got this hyper realistic painted texture, which I like. Hell of a work!

And all of that effort has resulted in a dynamic and beautiful result. Anyone who has ever been a runner would love to have this shot.
(Even though I never got to run with such a beautiful background as this guy has!)
