What an eerie image! Most unusual. Did you have the clean the lens afterward? I would expect that view to result in some soot on the lens.

Now you made me pick up the camera to check that out. Nope, no soot. The flames I could see were clean burning. I did have to move the camera back after I realized my close up macro shot wasnt such a good idea.

LOL! Yes, a macro might not be a great idea, especially if the lens is a plastic one. An interesting shot, neat colors and shapes.
