Default Passages - Water

Last week I posted a panorama that included a very full waterfall (Bridelveil Fall, Yosemite National Park). Here's another waterfall, one that's in an entirely different environment. It is in another canyon that's shaped by water but not ice, red sandstone instead of granite, a lower elevation, dryer climate, wispy instead of full. While it might be completely different, it's still beautiful.

The detail, clarity and colour of those sheer walls would be an imposing pic by themselves — the delicate fall of water is icing on the cake.

Beautiful. You were able to capture the depth of the waterfall.

Beautiful, as has already been stated. Is this also in Yosemite?

No, this was taken in Zion National Park. I don't think the waterfall has a name (I don't know it if it does) - it's near the parking area that's the end of the road in Zion Valley. I'm sorry that it's the 17th, I took a picture today that fits the passages theme perfectly - it's a trail going through a formation they call "Wall Street" in Bryce Canyon. What an awesome place!

Wow, beautiful pic...
I am always amazed at how much water can accomplish... sorta the reason I leave my dishes to soak... if water can carve the Grand Canyon, it ought to be able to get the egg off the plates :-)
