Default Backlighting - Fan Palm

Walking down Main Street after grabbing lunch I looked up and saw this fan palm tree blocking the noonday sun. Of course, I thought of this challenge. I switched on the flash on my P&S to bring out the details in the shadows.

Hi again, Walter. Although I like the first shot the most, the second really illustrates the back lighting.
