Default Backlighting - Shirt

> in order to create a dramatic effect

Dramatic? Don't know. What I do know is I looked at my world in a new light (pun intended) this morning, used a camera mode that I hadn't touched since playing with it while reading the manual, had to stop and think about what I was doing and went through a few trial and error cycles. In other words, I was challenged.

Only PP was a crop.

I don't know why, but as soon as I saw it I thought of an Andy Warhol painting. That's pretty clever. The contrasting shades create by the backlighted patch just caught my attention.

Spilled Campbell's Tomato Soup? :-)

Now that I think about it, my image resembles a screen stencil that's been inked and ready for the press. Some of Andy's best known works were done by screen printing (aka silkscreen) and he didn't shy away from the color red. Maybe that's the connection.

Thank you for the compliment. The composition part of the trial and error process was mostly error until I smoothed the shirt out which made the patch pocket pop.

I really like the idea.
