I think the extra stems make it unique and not just another flower picture. Lovely photo!

I find the lighting and colors are exquisite, especially against the dark background. Obviously most others do not agree, but personally I find the two diagonal stems distracting - I think before I would have taken that shot I would have removed those two - just my opinion (since you asked for comments on that point). Still a fine shot.

Yup, exactly what I was wondering! I didn't have much time while the sun was setting quickly. If I had a helper, I would have asked him/her to hold back the extra stems. I didn't want to break them off. Thanks for the input!

Saly, I like it the way it is. The "extra" stems add depth to the image. Very nicely done.
