Default Signs of Summer

Took my daughter to the park and showed her how to launch a simple sled kite. She didn't hardly need me at all...

The expression of fascination is charming here. Very nice.

She appears to be fascinated with what she is doing. The slight red tint seems to indicate this was shot in the evening. Nice job.

Spacer,

Perfect timing to show her concentration and fascination plus the warm tones make it even more attractive.
Good Job!

What everyone else said. The lighting really adds to the shot, rather like adding the icing on the cake.

I've been taking snapshots for years, but it wasn't until I borrowed an old Yashica TLR
that I started putting it all together. This was probably one of the first nicely-lit photos I've made on-purpose... and I'm hoping I get better from here.
Thanks for the comments, though I do think I got incredibly lucky with my subject. The light and the camera love her.
