Default Magic/Golden Hour: The city

Seattle with the first photo at the start of the golden hour and the second right at the end. You see it in the second from the clouds behind the city that are still in the sun.

Love your comparisons. Great work. The boat in the early shot adds quite a touch.

The lights of the city reflecting in the water is just beautiful.

Daz,

What a beautiful composition... I love both photos.

Thanks for the comparison of 'early golden hour' and 'late golden hour'.

Just shows what a difference a relatively short time can make.

Cheers

Paul

Wonderful pair. Where did you shoot that? I looked at a map and it appears to me that you may have been over on Bainbridge Island.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Cal, I am not that far away, it is an illusion from the lens I used.. I am on a hill in the park (Gas works) locality called kit hill. It is the same location as in the Top of the hill post. The first shot in that post is from the exactly the same place I just turned around. It was just before they put up the head for the 4th.
