Spectacular! That's a contest winner if I ever saw one.

Very nice. Looks like you had the place all to yourself.

Wonderful angle, gives it a slightly different perspective than the normal footbridge shot. Also the lighting/mist really adds something, a lovely shot.

Umdaman1

That is truly a spectacular landscape / architecture combination shot (as written above, the light, mist and lake really make it superb)!

It also meets the challenge so well.... love the converging lines (one side brighter / more colourful than the other).

Thanks for sharing. Please keep sharing!

Not only is there convergence, but the low angle of the light is not only golden, which is in itself beautiful, it also cause shadows on the planks. This creates another, yet more subtle set of converging lines.

Very complex and yet very serene looking image.

And yes, I would think - to this point, the best submitted.

Very good capture.

Thank you all for the kind words. The image is nine shots photomerged in PSE9. Taken with a Nikon D5000 and Sigma 10-20@12mm, F/10, 1/320s. It was taken between 6:30 and 7:00 A.M. Thanks again for the comments.

The layering of the different elements really makes this standout.
