Default Convergence- Parallel lines do meet

Yes, another cliche photo of a railway converging in the distance but this time trying to meet with the setting sun. Taken many moons ago with Kodachrome (sigh) and digitized.

That's an interesting effect. The lines draw the eye to the sun for sure.

Hi Dune

It might be a cliche photo, but you've executed this one brilliantly!

Great exposure, composition and just the right amount of interest (silhouetted horizon details) imho.

Love those lead in convergance lines reflecting the sun.

A super shot with perfect timing on the sunset and reflection on the rails.

I agree with Walter, the reflected light on the rails really makes this one "Pop".

Beautiful shot! This really illustrates that a good photo can be taken anywhere, any time! The usually mundane railroad tracks star magnificently in this photo.

Used to love Kodachrome, wonderful colors. Perfect for this shot - it might be a cliche but you've executed it unusually well. I really like this one, the colors sure make it special.

its a great shot imo. perfect timing so that the light is on the rails only leading you in nicely.
